2003 — Week 27

This week was the week of the Trophies. Christian Roth caught a superb Grayling of 51.5 cm, even to our standards an unique big fish. Ruedi Jacob had a nice Grayling of 48cm, Gaby Wolf caught a big Laketrout of 92cm while fishing for Grayling and this on light tackle on a 6lb test line! During two days fishing on one of our remote Lakes we had 5 Trophy-Laketrouts (107, 105, 103, 103, 101cm)– truly great fishing, especially for Basil Tschuor who had 3 Trophies to his rod. The weather was unfortunately unsteady with some cooler and rainy days, but who cares when you catch all these wonderful fish. We had some reports that the first Sockeye Salmon have entered the rivers and we are looking forward to the Salmon fishing in the next days. A really great week which our guests will always remember.
