2004 — Week 21

We had absolutely great weather this week: pure sunshine, warm temperatures and no wind. As foreseen in the previous report a few Lakes have opened up early. On May, 17th the ice was gone on both Dezadeash and Kathleen Lake. It was amazing to see that only 2 days ago these Lakes still had a quite solid ice cover. So far we have experienced nothing but fantastic fishing. In just one hour we landed 11 Fish up to 90cm. As there is still plenty of work to do, we couldn’t do a lot more fishing. We tried out our new Jet-Boat with success and now we can drive trough even shallower water and will have access to even better fishing spots. Only a few days left until our first guests will arrive – we are looking very much forward to it.
