2006 — Week 21
The temperatures rose significantly during this week, spring has finally arrived! It is amazing to see how fast everything is starting to grow, the leaves on the trees came out just within 2 days. Until the last day of the week the weather was good with mild temperatures and hardly any wind at all. Almost all the ice disappeared on our lake and we experienced fabulous fishing days. It felt a little bit strange to troll along the ice and sometimes we had to use our boats as “ice-breakers”. We caught many Lake Trout up to 82cm and all the Fish were in excellent condition. We really like this time of the year as the Fish are very aggressive and eager to take any lure. The new cabin will be ready shortly, just before we are fully booked. So the start of the new season could not have been better!Statistics
