2006 — Week 22
The new cabin is all finished! We are very pleased to offer these four new comfortable and large double bedrooms to our guests. Certainly another quality improvement to our already high standards. Lake Trout fishing was at its best with a lot of Fish up to 90cm. We could only start to fish our Rivers towards the middle of the week as there was still ice coming down from the Lakes. But the fishing was just great, we had many large Grayling in the range of 40 to 46cm as well as beautiful Rainbow Trout up to 50cm. We still do not have access to all of our Lakes as they are still covered with ice but we are confident that this will change soon. It seems that nature is about 2 weeks later than usual. The weather was fine, we only had half a day of rain and the temperatures are slowly climbing up. Wind wise it was mainly calm. We had higher winds only on the last day of the week. There are lots of bears around the Highway and our guests were taking many pictures – another unique experience at Dalton Trail Lodge!Statistics
