2007 — Week 20
This is our first News Report this year after a long and hard winter. We had a lot of snow, way above average with fairly cold temperatures up to -45° Celsius. Spring has finally arrived, during the last few days temperatures have reached about 15° Celsius. Right now all of our lakes are still frozen but we can see some openings and therefore we should be able to go out fishing soon. The weather forecast for the next week is looking very good and temperatures will rise too. Our first guests will arrive in a week and we are confident that they will experience some great fishing. We are in the final stage of preparing the forthcoming season, there is always a lot of work to do. We have some great news for our guests this year: We are able to offer fly-out trips with a floatplane to some very remote lakes. This will give us an even bigger range of opportunities. We have just installed a wireless internet access in the lodge for those customers who want to bring their own notebook along. There is also a guest-computer in our living room where you can access the web. We are pleased to offer these new services at no cost. We are looking very much forward to welcoming our first guests and to a successful new season.
