2007 — Week 22
What a fantastic week with 3 trophies caught! We were very honoured to host famous fishing star Bob Izumi and the country legend Paul Brandt with his wife Elizabeth. Bob is going to produce a TV Show (Bob Izumi’s Real Fishing Show) about Dalton Trail Lodge and we can’t wait until it will air. Paul is not only a fantastic singer, he is also a great fisherman; he caught a huge Grayling of 51 cm. This is the second biggest Grayling caught in the last five years. On one of the evenings Paul Brandt honoured our guests and lodge staff with a private concert. We all enjoyed and appreciated this very special moment. Bob Izumi showed his fishing skills as well and it is not surprising that he caught a trophy Grayling of 48.5 cm. He also caught many more big fish of all species. The third new member of our exclusive Trophy Club is Georges Realini with a Pike of 101 cm. Congratulations to all of them and welcome to our Trophy Club! Generally fishing was excellent for all species. We are glad that all the Lakes are open now and we are able to offer our whole variety of excursions to our guests. The week started with windy conditions and cooler temperatures. From Thursday on we had warm weather and hardly any wind at all. All in all a great week with lots of unique experiences!
