2007 — Week 23
We experienced another great week with many trophies caught! Sasha Peterson caught two Pike trophies with the size of 100cm and 110cm on the same day. Steve Horsey also landed a very big Pike of 105cm. These two Gentlemen are now proud members of our exclusive Trophy Club. Congratulations to both of you and well done! Fishing for Laketrout was world-class with many big fish up to 95cm. It shouldn’t take too long to report the first trophy Laketrout as we are getting closer and closer to the magic 100cm mark during the last weeks. Pike fishing was fantastic everywhere and our guides had sore arms from releasing so many fish. Grayling fishing was very productive too and a fair amount of them were caught on dry flies. Fishing for Rainbow Trout was great and our guests enjoyed catching these lively fish on light tackle. Finally we were able to fly out boats by helicopter to a few very remote lakes. So from now on we can offer our guests fly out trips by floatplane. The weather was very nice this week with quite warm temperatures. The winds were on the calm side except for one day when we had some strong gusts. All in all a wonderful week with fair weather and great fishing.Statistics
