2007 — Week 26
One of the best fishing-week we have ever had, five trophy fish were caught! Fishing for Laketrout was world-class on every lake. Pascal Villar caught a nice trophy Laketrout of 105cm. Just two days later Linc Lougheed caught a trophy Laketrout of 102cm and a monster Namaycush of 112cm on the same day. This big fish weighted more than 40 pounds and is the biggest Laketrout of the season so far. Pike fishing was great too. Bill Dost caught a big trophy Pike of 106cm and Peter Bradley also had a trophy of 100cm. From now on these four Gentlemen are proud members to our exclusive Trophy Club. Congratulations to all of them. We experienced very good fishing on the rivers for Grayling and Rainbow Trout. Many were caught on flies but small spinners worked as well. We are still waiting for the first Salmon to move into our rivers, this should happen soon. We had very good weather for fishing with mainly cloudy skies, decent temperatures and calm conditions. The last two days of the week the wind started to pick up. A great week with many happy fishermen!Statistics
