2007 — Week 27
Another successful week with more trophy fish caught! Pavel Budinsky had a hard fight with his huge Laketrout of 106cm and was the happiest boy when he saw the fish in the landing net. Lubomir Frencl was lucky too with his very heavy Namaycush of 100cm. We are proud to welcome these new members to our Trophy Club, congratulations to both of them and well done! Several big Laketrout up to 97cm were caught during this week; just missing the trophy mark by a tiny little bit. The Grayling were rising everywhere and of course many up to 45cm were caught on dry flies. Good fishing also continued for the Rainbow Trout with flies and smaller lures. Pike fishing was slightly slower than the previous weeks but our guests still experienced good fishing. The first King Salmon are entering our rivers but not in big numbers yet. We will wait another few days for the first trips to allow for a better catch to our guests. We have very good reports from locals at the lower parts of our Salmon Rivers: They say that a lot of fish are moving upstream and the runs should be above average. So we are expecting good Salmon fishing in our local rivers pretty soon. The week started with some rain and no wind at all. For the rest of the week we experienced nice weather but windier conditions. A great week with a lot of happy faces.Statistics
