2010— Week 25

Wow, what an incredible fishing week with a total of 13 Trophies being caught! It is really nice to report the first Lake Trout Trophies of this season. We were so close the last weeks and now it finally happened. We would like to welcome the following Gentlemen to the Lake Trout Trophy Club: Martin Haefeli (107 cm), Robert Holliger (101 cm), Andreas Arendt (101 cm, 110 cm) and Andreas Breuer (108 cm). That makes a total of 5 huge Lake Trout in only one week! Pike fishing was also incredible with 6 new members to the Pike Trophy Club: Vlastimil Vyhlidal (106 cm, 108 cm), Jan Kadera (106 cm), Tomas Bartl (108 cm), Martin Haefeli (108 cm, 113 cm), Patricia Breede (113 cm), Andreas Arendt (106 cm). Congratulations to all of them, great job! Martin and Andreas both caught Lake Trout and Pike Trophies during their stay. They have now the chance to become a member of the most exclusive Trophy Club, the Grand Slam Champion. They need to catch a Grayling bigger than 48 cm but they have only 2 days left… We wish them good luck! Most of the big Lake Trout were caught while trolling but our guests also enjoyed catching nice fish up to 86 cm on flies. They put up a great fight and it is a real test for angler and tackle. Fishing for Grayling and Rainbow Trout was good, but no real big ones were caught. We had all kinds of weather from sunshine to rain, from calm days to windy days. All together we experienced everything the weather had to offer. But who cares about the weather when the fishing is that great.
