Our 2026 season is well underway!
Spring came a bit late in the Yukon but lucky for us most of our waters were open in time for our first guests. As always when the ice first goes off and the water starts to warm the fish are super aggressive.
Our main river system was still very low so we had to bring a boat down to the smaller lakes that are connected by it and we shuttle our guests with a side by side to its location to enjoy everything it has to offer. This river is full of Grayling, Lake Trout and Rainbow Trout.
We were not able to get to our main outpost cabin as the lake was still partially frozen. Hopefully in the next week or so it will open so that we can get up there and enjoy the true seclusion of being out in the bush. The house lake has been super-hot! Whether with a guide or on their own our guests had a blast fishing for Lake Trout, Pike and Grayling.
We landed our first Trophy Fish of the year! We would like to welcome the following people to our trophy club: Andrew Landed a Trophy Grayling that measured 48cm and Paul G landed a Lake Trout Trophy that measured 101cm.
We added a beautiful new side by side to our fleet and are planning on adding a new big boat in the weeks to come. All in all, we are off to a good start and are very much looking forward to the summer to come.
